Friends 4 Picacho founding members meet!
Thursday, February 2nd may have been Groundhog Day, but in La Mesa's Cosmos cafe it marked the first meeting of a dedicated group of people willing to put in time and effort to keep California's Picacho State Recreation area open. The State has selected it along with 69 other state parks to close in June due to lack of funding. More information will be coming, so please follow our blog to see how you can help keep this beautiful park open.
